Description
Snap together. Slope built in.
Each pre-sloped channel drops in and locks to the next with tongue-and-groove slip joints—no couplers. The grate line stays level with your finished surface while the molded invert carries water down a continuous fall—then discharges through an end outlet or a bottom outlet, whichever your site needs.
Schematic of a four-channel run discharging through both the end- and bottom-outlet options. Slope shown exaggerated for clarity—actual molded fall is 0.7%.
What is the SwiftDrain 600?
The SwiftDrain 600 is a 6-inch-wide, pre-sloped modular trench drain built from gray HDPE. Channels snap together with tongue-and-groove slip joints—no couplers—to capture and carry surface runoff at engineered flow rates across driveways, parking areas, warehouses, washdown floors, and pool decks.
It is the go-to choice when a project needs the strength and longevity of a concrete trench system without the slow, costly pour. Each channel arrives molded with a built-in 0.7% slope, sequentially numbered, and marked with flow arrows, so a crew can drop in a true, self-draining run and back-fill the same day.
Built to drain hard and install fast
Engineered details that save labor on site and keep water moving for the life of the run.
Engineered flow rates
A 0.7% molded slope and 2.5″-radius invert move up to 379 GPM per foot—no guesswork forming a fall on site.
Snap-together install
Tongue-and-groove slip joints lock channels together with no couplers. Units are numbered with flow arrows for a foolproof layout.
Won’t float
Integral rebar anchors lock the channel into the concrete surround so the run stays put during the pour and over time.
Chemical & temp resistant
HDPE shrugs off harsh chemicals, hot washdown, and freeze-thaw cycles—ideal for breweries, kitchens, and exterior runs.
Loads to Class D
Paired with a ductile iron frame and grate, the system carries forklifts and truck traffic at loading docks and warehouses.
Deep custom configs
Channel depths from 4″ to 24″ and neutral sections extend runs past 1,000 linear feet on a single layout.
SwiftDrain 600 vs. a poured concrete trench
Same drainage performance. A fraction of the labor, weight, and schedule risk.
Molded-in 0.7% fall vs. hand-forming a slope and hoping it holds.
Lightweight HDPE sections two people can carry vs. heavy formwork and pours.
Set, anchor, and back-fill in a day vs. forming, pouring, and curing.
Consistent factory profile and grate seat vs. variable field tolerances.
A complete kit, engineered to fit
Each base unit is one 48″ channel with two 24″ grates. Add inline catch basins, end and bottom outlets, filter baskets, and your choice of grate—all dimensioned to the 600 platform so nothing needs field modification.
Runs extend to 256 ft of continuous slope, or past 1,000 linear feet by adding neutral channels. Tell us your layout and we’ll return a take-off and a same-day proposal.
Six grate materials, one channel
Pick the grate by the traffic it carries and the environment it lives in. Every option drops onto the same SwiftDrain 600 channel, and iron grates reach a Class D rating when paired with the ductile iron frame.
| Grate material | Traffic / load | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Polymer (7 colors, 2 patterns) | Pedestrian & light traffic | Patios, walkways, pool decks, residential |
| Galvanized steel | Pedestrian to medium | Driveways, light commercial, plazas |
| Stainless steel | Medium · corrosion & sanitary | Breweries, food & beverage, washdown, chemical |
| Ductile iron | Heavy · Class D with frame | Warehouses, loading docks, forklift & truck traffic |
| Cast iron & decorative | Medium to heavy | Commercial entries, streetscapes, decorative runs |
| Bronze | Architectural | High-end architectural & feature installations |
Slot styles include horizontal, vertical, ADA-compliant, heel-proof, decorative, and forklift-rated. ADA and heel-proof grates are available across most materials.
What load class do I need?
Match the grate and frame to the heaviest wheel that will cross the trench. The SwiftDrain 600 spans Class A through Class D—most site, commercial, and industrial applications.
Foot traffic, cyclists, pool decks, patios.
Cars, driveways, residential parking.
Curbsides, commercial lots, light trucks.
Forklifts, loading docks, trucks · ductile iron + frame.
Not sure which class your traffic falls under? See the full load-rating guide or send us the vehicle and we’ll spec it.
