An Ohio based fertilizer production facility, required an effective drainage system that could handle heavy loads and resist chemical corrosion. The facility needed a solution that was easy to clean and maintain, as well as being able to withstand the harsh conditions and chemicals of fertilizer production.
Swiftdrain, was chosen to provide a solution for the production facility’s drainage needs. Swiftdrain supplied a 6 inch wide HDPE pre-sloped trench drain system, designed to handle heavy duty loads and to withstand the harsh environment of the fertilizer production facility.
The HDPE material used in the construction of the trench drain system is highly resistant to chemical corrosion, making it ideal for use in this type of environment. The system is also designed to be easy to clean, ensuring that any waste or other materials can be quickly and efficiently removed from the facility.
Swiftdrain worked closely with the contractor’s engineering team to design and configure the trench drain system to meet their specific requirements. The result was a highly effective and efficient drainage system that is capable of handling the demands of a fertilizer production facility.
This project consisted of approximately 1000 linear feet of indoor and outdoor trench drains. In a perimeter configuration with multiple connecting runs, corners, outlets and catch basins.
The trench drain system supplied by Swiftdrain proved to be highly effective in meeting the specific needs of this fertilizer production facility. The pre sloped design of the system ensured that water and other liquids were quickly and efficiently directed towards the outlet points and preventing standing water.
